What To Expect

Sarah brings a light-hearted, fun approach to support singers just beginning on their musical journeys. In Primo Allegro, Sarah uses gadgets, games and movement to help foster a love for lifelong singing. Born and raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Sarah takes special pride in being able to spread the joy of music across the whole Kansas City Metro area. Outside the choir room, Sarah enjoys relaxing at home with her partner and two huskies, Remi and Wrigley.


Career Highlights

  • Elementary music educator in both Kansas and Missouri for over a decade

  • 2023/2024 conductor of the NEKMEA Elementary Honor Choir

  • 2017 conductor for the Kansas City Kansas Fifth Grade Honor Choir

  • Joining Allegro Staff in 2012

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. During her time at UMKC, she sang under the direction of Dr. Charles Robinson and Dr. Robert Bode. Since 2012, Sarah has served on the Allegro Choirs of Kansas City staff as a director of Primo Allegro, Poco Allegro and as an assistant to Allegro con Brio and Allegro con Moto. Sarah is in her 12th year of teaching music in the elementary schools. Starting her teaching career in Kansas City, Kansas, Sarah is now teaching in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
